From midnight July 18 to early July 19, WVNET will migrate its Transit Ring to new routers and 100Gbps circuits. Expect a brief outage in Charleston, Morgantown, Columbus, OH, and Pittsburgh. Some may experience longer disruptions.

The term “solstice” comes from the Latin words sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still). At the solstice, the angle between the Sun’s rays and the plane of the Earth’s equator (called declination) appears to stand still.
