In Settings there’s an option to allow siri/apple intelligence to use chatgpt “when necessary“ - could be europe only?
Maybe that explains the difference in experience too. Apple Intelligence is very bare bones here, which is fine by me.

Ah, hmm, so whenever I use apple intelligence via control centre button, it just says chatgpt whenever I pose a question (ever used this 2x or so). Voice wise I think nothing changed, or maybe because I only use timers and reminders? I guess being a light user I might have not noticed much.

With updated, you mean it was updated as part of IOS 26? With no AI Siri released yet, I wouldn’t think they’d sabotage Siri on purpose 🤷

Ah yes, been there 20+ times and lived there for 2 years. Although I’m already familiar with Shimokitazawa and Jiyugaoka, both of which are favorites among the locals. Azabudai would be a first, but also a well known area. Finally Kuramae is probably the most quiet. Hoping to visit some cafes there

I was perfectly happy with my NS2 screen, until I played Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (heavy on horizontal scrolling). Suddenly, this becomes a real issue. The motion blur has my eyes struggling to keep up with the game.

Ah I can imagine. I did lots of background image generation for a Halloween visual novel game I was planning to play with the family - trying to correct whatever was generated sucked the life out of me. It’s just rolling the dice really and pretending a better prompt will actually help.What a world.

From a down-to-earth business software engineer perspective: AI is crap here too. It can do some boilerplate or serve as a better google for documentation, but otherwise we’re just drowning in overhyped AI nonsense.

Feedback if wanted (if not, that’s also fine :)) - going through the site and I have to click all the way through to github to learn what’s being offered here. Would be great if clear use cases were given on the site per plugin/extension.
