How much is your "middle class home" priced at on zillow rn? Could a working class American afford it? And you don't want any more homes built in your exclusive neighborhood, and guaranteed you're not selling YOUR home at 50% market rate to offer someone affordable housing.

Nobody hates affordable housing more or fights against it more viciously than the affluent homeowner class, gleefully displacing historic neighborhoods of working class Americans with million-dollar mcmansion tear downs.

Yeah people are genuinely kind and helpful in big cities, but I think OP means they're not all up in your business in an unwelcome way like in small communities.

Visited last night and quite liked it! My only quibble is the bill was $45 for 1 app and 1 gin & tonic and that's uh not very neighborly.
