Hey Greg --- if you're not going to vote for Lindsay Luhnau, could we ask you to please not vote this election? Thanks a bunch.

There were plenty of maple leafs on board. One of the folks we were travelling with even made sure to wear at least one prominent maple leaf or other Canadian symbol at all times. And he was not shy about pushing back at the odd comment about "becoming their 51st state, wink-wink, nudge-nudge".

... even though some quiet observation revealed there were more Americans on board (as passengers, not crew of course) than any other nationality.

In fact, I don't recall seeing a single one.

...and the stars and stripes would be somewhere in the background, if not prominently displayed on their person.

Which is why it was odd to not see a lot of American flags or other U.S.A. symbols on our Japan cruise last month

From a fellow Edmontonian (like our new Prime Minister) let me say thank you for your understanding. We wish you well in your fight for democracy and for the survival of your Republic.

I quit them last fall and thought it would be hard to live without Prime and without their deliveries. To my relief, it has been one of the simplest, easiest, most satisfying decisions I have ever made.

I dropped my WaPo subscription last fall when they refused to issue an endorsement. Those funds have now been deployed to your organization. Thank you (from a Dutch-Canadian) for all you are doing for this world. Not just America. The whole world needs people like you.

Our governments and the people who lead them won't so easily disregard climate change and (massive and rapidly increasingly) inequality of wealth and health and other "woke" issues if the people who have to live with the consequences the longest are able to choose who represent them.

Second, the older you are, the less your vote should count. I'm sick and tired of old fogies whining about our leaders and the state of this wonderful country. My daughter at 25 still has to live here (and in this world) for twice as long as me (if I'm lucky). Her vote should count twice as much.

Not much of a brain either, so no chance of a stroke.

I binge-watched the first season a few months ago. Can't get into the new season. At all. The goat-farm scene was the last straw. I'm out.

Yes, nothing is ever that straightforward. Global warming certainly doesn't help though.

What would really help would be to bring earth's temperature back down to normal levels.

What is this, basketball? That’s where they play on a wooden rink, right?

"While the deal has three stages, the terms of the second phase will not be negotiated until the first phase is underway.”

Sounds like your classic bait-and-switch.
