Copilot itself sucks but the $10 is well worth it just for the generous API you can use for other things. Unlimited GPT 4.1 for agent file editing etc is good enough - you can use smarter models to plan out everything then let 4.1 do the work. Made a cool helper tool

I know it needs a few things like collapsed / expandable folders, token counter, maybe also an optional .aicp settings file for folders so it knows exactly which files from last time. GUI is quicker for me

I often try to use lots of other models to save money but sometimes end up wasting hours.. then I ask Claude and bam.. gets it right first try 😂

I made a GUI version of a similar tool that doesn’t require internet/github. It will auto-select likely code files then let you use checkboxes to add more or take some off etc.. wuu73.org/aicp

I read somewhere that for reasoning models, the quicker is starts typing the output the more accurate it is generally.

But r1 really does seem better than Deepseek v3 so the reasoning seems to help, at least for coding.

Sonnet is still so so good. It’s the best one.
