It took me until today, at over forty years old, to realize I can write in and notate my books if that soothes me.

I dealt with some strong feelings. Books aren’t holy relics, not really, when left pristine on the shelf. Their fate either way is likely the second-hand market.

Just got back from urgent care and X-ray. Not broken, but they think the party shoe will help immobilize it so it can heal because the buddy tape is excruciating. I fuuuuuucked it up badly.
