Dad, hiker, travel junkie, can't get enough of current affairs, fan of historical fact and fiction. Can’t be dealing with Twitter any more.
It’s mad how thinking about Biden takes up so many of his waking hours. How insecure is that!

You can have both you know…

I’m not sure that would have any impact on him. He just doesn’t care. He sees $$$ when he meets Putin and that’s all he cares about.
November 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Agreed… I misread your post and thought you meant engaged with Russia. Engagement is fine, but not at any cost. Ukraine must have justice.
November 25, 2025 at 8:15 AM
But how do you see that playing out? What does the end look like?
November 25, 2025 at 6:54 AM
This is just making excuses for him. He’s a mean, nasty, vein little narcissist and we shouldn’t be making excuses for him.
November 24, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Hmmm, who else thought that recently and how is that going for them now?
November 24, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Ireland should be 100% behind this. For a country that often remembers 800 years of oppression, we’re slow to stand with others facing it now. Hiding behind a hollow idea of neutrality isn’t noble or clever. Evil wins when good people sit on the fence. Our high moral ground is very unstable.

And they want any agreement yo be the final word on these war crimes? The Hague should be overflowing with ruZZian war criminals before it’s over.

The response of the GAA is appalling. Where’s the leadership and accountability?
November 24, 2025 at 6:22 PM
I just don’t believe he knows what the word sedition means - let alone that he can spell it. Simone else wrote this.
November 23, 2025 at 5:39 PM
He has zero understanding of the situation and what’s worse, he doesn’t care. He sees the war as an inconvenience standing in his way of making money out of trade with Russia. History will remember him for what he is.

Donald Tusk is my hero. One of the best leaders in Europe at the moment.

They need to be regulated as publishers. Make people responsible for what they post. That will be a first step in solving the problem.
November 23, 2025 at 5:26 PM
You now need to back these words up with actions. I sense that you want to - so it’s time to convince your colleagues that it’s time for Europe to make a proper stand and break from the US on this. The alternative is a wider war in the next 15 to 20 years.

I have as much interest in reading what Zuckerberg wants me to read as I do in what Musk wants me to read. No thanks.
November 21, 2025 at 9:07 PM
They don’t want him either. Need to find somewhere else for him.
November 21, 2025 at 9:05 PM
If that’s support I’d hate to see them if they were against you.

The transatlantic partnership is over. Time for Europe to stand on its own two feet and stop pandering to the US.
November 21, 2025 at 8:50 PM
That and the way the US wants to take 50% of profits from ventures funded by Russian frozen assets. And quite a few of the points require European agreement (reconstruction, NATO membership and lifting of sanctions). Time for Europe to accept the transatlantic partnership is over?
November 21, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Most right thinking people despise him. He’s a rapist, totally corrupt, uninformed and cruel. Why does anyone support him?
November 21, 2025 at 8:24 PM
This is all about Trump wanting to do make money out of Russia and now he’s found a win win. When is Europe going to realise it’s a serious economic power and that we have leverage over the US? We need to use that leverage now to stop this madness.
November 21, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Why are any reasonable people still on X. Just get off it and leave them to their own devices.
November 21, 2025 at 5:35 PM
We’ve had so many ‘defining moments’ for Europe since January, and we’ve failed every one so far. We can’t afford to fail this one. When will Europe finally realise it has serious economic power and that we can do damage to the US. Once we figure that out, decisions will be better.
