I’m still new to Chinese so I might be wrong but isn’t 紅包 also used to refer to bribes? The spokesperson might as well have said “you see she didn’t engage in bribery because she used a practice commonly used to bribe people”

N&P’s framework is also the conceptual foundation for Deleuze’s later works, including Anti-Oedipus, which is why it helps to read it first

Based on what my Deleuzian friend told me, it can be done but it’s advisable to read Nietzsche and Philosophy first. Anti-Oedipus is written to fuck with the reader and makes a ridiculous number of allusions to literature and philosophy, while N&P is trying to help you understand

If you know what documents specifically you’re looking for, they may be digitized on the International Institute of Social History website (or you can ask them to scan it for you and send you a copy—if it’s relatively small they’ll sometimes do it for free.)
