Yeah I’ve found most con games to be a one off. Maybe you make a connection with another player but it hasn’t been a great avenue to finding more groups in my experience

Has it been a good experience online? By foot in the door do you mean like actively participating in discords/forums or joining in smaller play groups?

You certainly can but sometimes you get a weapon or picto that uses a certain skill and while you can definitely just wait a few levels sometimes it’s like 15-20 points away and respeccing would just be faster
