so there definitely is an issue with making sure anti-cheat works but at least within steam's own environment they seem to be working with anti-cheat to let get people online.

I use Ubuntu/Proton to game I've been able to play most of the games I play online just fine at the moment a lot of anti-cheats at least in the steam environment have stuff to allow proton the only one I've come up against that doesn't is battle-eye I can't play GTA5 online.
