Sure, drive engagement on the very apps that wanted this from the beginning. You're not winning anyone over at this point with facts and logic in spaces like IG, FB, or X. They just want to argue. Meanwhile, meta/X benefits from the traffic and engagement. Tt appears to be a 🚫👎 too now

Sorry, you had to learn that in such a way. Many of them just elected a guy to be President who couldn't find Spain or practically any country on a map. Our problems extend beyond geography ;)

That is exactly what I've been saying. The best way to make changes is with the servers "down." Typically, you could use the app even if there was an update you just didn't have the new stuff. If they bring the servers back and it forces an update to connect, huge 🚩

Well, to be completely fair, Clinton did start part of the mess Bush Jr. expanded upon that led to the housing crisis in 07-08 with the repeal of Glass-Steagall. But at least Clinton passed Jr. a budget surplus that he subsequently squandered and truned into a ballooning deficit, as Republicans do

I've been here for a while as well, and it's nice to see the user base coming alive. My 🐦 app usage had been nill for quite some time. Post election, I deactivated every single account there. This place has always been a superior concept/framework. It just needed the community.

Our media is the problem. All of them. Had they been doing their jobs, we would not be in this situation. Until they're ready to hold elected officials or those seeking office accountable, we cease all engagement. Block socials and don't feed their ratings.

Absolutely, it's ridiculous to think we haven't already clarified and codified what is acceptable and expected in our elected officials. If we're waiting for them to do it, we're going to wait a while lol
