Overall its a good release and happy to have it. Thankful to have Mercy and Smile back in my rotation like I did when we still carried ipods in our pockets.

I dont have the original version of Smile handy so not exactly sure how it is different from IDWTSYS. But it is still the most heart breaking song in U2's catalog.

Treason seems like a solo sidestep Bono would have done with that artist that had that one kinda popular song.

Bono's new vocals on Mercy don't detract and his annunciation clears up some muddy lines. This song will always be Mercy just like it'll always be the Sears Tower.

I'm relieved to see that Mercy is still very close to the original. The higher quality audio is welcomed although I would have preferred the original.

The remastered tracks sound great. The bass on Vertigo is the most noticeable change as it is the unsung hero of that song.
