He did this to save face. He saw Mamdani win in NY. Didn’t vote for the Democrat candidate and he threw all of under the bus like the petty asshole he is. You know how we can tell? None of those that voted are up for reelection until 2028/30. I hope AOC takes his seat from him.

Progressives won in a landslide on Tuesday. Establishment is pissed because they know their jobs are on the line. People who aren’t up for election for another 4-6 years voted for this bill. Untouchable. Schumer gets plausible deniability. They didn’t show up to support Mamdani’s win. Petty as hell.
