From Sunday, Sept. 7 through Saturday, Sept. 13, MAX Blue and Red Line service will be replaced by shuttle buses between Sunset Transit Center and Providence Park. Here are some of your options to getting around the disruption: www.wta-tma.org/commuter-new...
BUS: In addition to the MAX replacement shuttle, there are three bus routes that connect Portland and the westside. Line 20 is a frequent service route connecting Gresham with Beaverton Transit Center via Burnside, Barnes, and Cedar Hills. There is an easy one block transfer at Providence Park. Line 54 is a frequent service route connecting Portland City Center with Beaverton Transit Center via Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Several connections are available on the Portland Transit Mall. ​Line 58 connects Portland City Center with Beaverton Transit Center via US 26 and Canyon Road. The line continues to serve Jefferson and Columbia downtown, stopping adjacent to Goose Hollow MAX. BIKE: Start or end your day with a scenic ride up and over the west hills through Washington Park. On the Westside, MAX service will run normally, with both Red and Blue line trains every 15 minutes.
