A couple weeks ago, we celebrated the THINK Lab's 6th birthday with a summer party! It was wonderful to get everyone together for good food, games, and great conversation.

Congratulations to our amazing lab manager, MacKenna, who will be starting at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Clinical Psychology PhD program this Fall! We're so proud of everything you have accomplished and can't wait to see the incredible things you'll do during this next chapter and beyond.

Congratulations to Dr. Jaster, who received the VCU Lauren A. Woods Research Excellence Award for her dissertation titled “Molecular Target and Circuitry Underlying the Preclinical Effects of Psychedelics in Models of Opioid Use Disorder.”👏

Dr. Jaster (@jasteralaina.bsky.social) and Sam (@sam-ely.bsky.social) recently traveled to Olympic Valley, CA for the Annual Winter Conference on Brain Research. They co-chaired a panel titled “Novel Treatments for PTSD: Focus on Fear Conditioning as a Translational Model.” Excellent work!

Congratulations to Samantha Ely for receiving the Corrine F. Resta Endowed Student Award! The award will be used to support her doctoral training and dissertation work, which will look into suicidal ideation, emotion regulation, and endocannabinoids in teens.
