~What's the best way to eat an elephant?~

I'm probably the person to talk to if you have passionate opinions about the part of the early 90s where Fox had an hour of Sunday comedies from 10-11 PM.
The Kelce brothers bitching about halftime entertainment, but I bet no Water Dog who ever made the halftime show had as disappointing a year as Travis this year.

I heard a thing about the possibility of high winds locally, so I read one of the stories and in the second paragraph it mentioned that "the Euro forecast model saw it as a likely non-event", and, hey, maybe there's still an accurate forecast to be found.

Not any of the American ones, mind you...

We're living in the world where the D students somehow figured out that if they all give the same wrong answers, the teacher will bend the curve to their performance.

My son who worked the Christmas market told me a major reason he worked so many shifts was because it was a diverse workplace, and a few of the original people got fired for "derogatory language".

They were anti-ElfGBTQ.

Pictures of him in the desk drawer like your kids old school pictures, yeah, that guy is both innocent and naive.

You can see the biggest difference between Jake Paul and actual boxers in the footwork, I've watched dozens of fights, and Paul is the first guy I thought might trip and fall trying to circle the opponent.

"The best thing you could say is Jake Paul wasn't seriously hurt."

Accurate.

"And, he was competitive out there."

Well, not so much.
December 20, 2025 at 5:05 AM
Jake Paul may as well be hitting Joshua with pillows out there for all the impact his "big" shots are having.

The fans willingly put down four figures to watch an unathletic influencer stumble around against an actual champion athlete, they are absolutely getting what they paid for.

She's singing the anthem fine, but it's her right hand that's putting on the real show.

It's as though he probably didn't deserve to be an owner, needed special considerations to get his bid in, and only got it because (David Stern) anyone throwing good money after bad in Sacramento probably doesn't have the acumen to turn around a perennial doormat.

Shocked face.
Vivek Ranadive has Sacramento Kings fans who worked part time for absolutely free covering/writing about this team.. Not watching

Vivek has the biggest die hard fan groups that used to travel the country to watch games... not going

Vivek has the single best fan base in the NBA completely apathetic

I was *this* close to an "OK, Sam Darnold IS a good QB, but he needs to be in the AFC, or at least not face the Rams twice a year..."
December 19, 2025 at 6:24 AM
The Seahawks success has silenced the "OK, so when does Jody Allen have to sell the team?" conversation.

In Western Washington terms, it's odd that Aberdeen is the one with multiple famous people and Fall City is the one where multiple people killed their families, because they definitely present the other way around.

Waiting on the "Susie Wiles OUT, as Susie wiles out" headline.

Today is a 10/10 on the "I only woke up to get to my afternoon nap" scale.

I'm not a distrustful guy, but when my keys disappear at a venue and I get volunteer helpers to look with me, I'm instantly thinking "one of them has my keys already and is gonna heroically find them behind the toilet or under the piano".
December 16, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Networks and sports betting being so deep in bed will lead to "you need to make sure the information you put out in game helps advance our respective profit margins".

Less replays, the fainter on-screen strike zone, announcers matching their calls to the refs/umpires... people notice.
December 15, 2025 at 5:32 AM
I mean, it won't work out that way, but man, Friday could be sweet if they put out any kind of files then Jake Paul gets his absolute shit rocked in his first match against a real boxer.

I mean, I'm expecting an empty shell and Mayweather-Macgregor all over again, but maybe...
December 15, 2025 at 5:28 AM
Yuck.

Still a Seahawks win, though. Absolute timeout masterclass by Macdonald.
December 15, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Too many Sunday gamblers got moon-eyed over that Seahawk game, there's no way a back judge or umpire didn't get their pocket lined by Vegas to make sure it plays out a certain way.
December 14, 2025 at 10:43 PM
The Colts are going to get greedy and take a deep shot at some point, and Philip Rivers arm will tear off like he's in the No Drug Olympics.

I heard a political ad, about how traveling in-state is mostly done by people from the state and wondered "who could this be for and what is the issue this ad endeavors to solve?", then I heard "AirB&B PAC" and instantly Fuck Those People, there SHOULD be a 12 room hotel somewhere within 30 miles.
December 14, 2025 at 9:40 PM
There should absolutely be a Jacob Green-Red Bryant 12 Flag raising.
