It's a LONG story and telling it would make me look even more a fool... So I plead the fifth.

Hmm, last time I rendered something like this I wrote it as TIFF files and it took 5+ hours. That seemed kinda long so this time I wrote to JPEG and it took 20 minutes. That's a lesson I shouldn't have even had to learn, given how many times I've written to JPEG, but sometime you forget things!

I guess it's for the best, during the test drive the AC wasn't working and the check engine light was shining like the sun. When I pointed it out the salesman's eyes got pretty wide. Looked like they didn't even know anything was wrong with the car.

Here it is, sliced toasted and (homemade) buttered.
Less rise means less bubbles and air pockets in the bread, no surprise there. The cornmeal comes through in the flavor too, I can taste the extra sugars. The texture is where it's really different though. Turns out cornmeal is mealy.

Fresh out of the oven it didn't puff up much, if at all. Quite curious to find out how it tastes though, as cornmeal has some amount of natural sugars that neither wheat or rye flour has.
This is for breakfast though, so the first slice and taste will have to wait.

The first rise was roughly the same as a normal loaf of whole wheat. The second rise however was less impressive, even though I added vital wheat gluten to try and balance out how cornmeal doesn't have gluten.
