I loved the picture book Safe Crossing by Kari Percival! About amphibians, citizen science, and activism with lovely illustrations. Lots of informative back matter as well.

Just read Perfect by Waka T. Brown and Yuko Jones, a lovely story about accepting imperfection, the Japanese art of kintsugi, and a grandmother/granddaughter relationship.

Constantly in awe of the number of amazing picture books that are created each year! I've read 120+ 2024 titles and keeping finding more to seek out.
