I'm not saying Tas would ever steal anything... but has anyone checked his pouches for the missing Louvre jewelry?

I've got reviews for both Dragons of Summer Flame and Dragons of Krynn coming up. Tomorrow, I'm reviewing The Art of Dragon Magazine. It has a Dragonlance piece by Larry Elmore that I hadn't seen before! It's included in the post, but I'll share here too in case you're interested.
Pretty cool!

The amazing Indie August sale might be over, but there's never a bad time to read off the beaten path.
Name an indie book you love that others should read. Tag a friend.
Let's grow our TBRs!

I recently read and loved the fantasy War Heart by @ashcapes.bsky.social.

I did something I rarely do (because my sense of humor is really only funny to me) and made a meme.

Joking aside, do you have a favorite Dragonlance quote?

Exactly. Those debates get pretty heated, too.
I'm using his Aaron Copeland as a bookmark currently. 😂

Don't get me wrong, I love a good hardcover book. The problem with a hardcover book, though, is the dent it leaves in my forehead when I fall asleep reading and drop it.

What are you reading?

My youngest is finally old enough to watch The Labyrinth, so we had a family movie day.
It was a ton of fun, but it reminded me of the time I ordered a stuffed Worm as a surprise for my husband, but I was sent the stuff of nightmares instead.
See below: What I wanted vs. What I got.

Did you know?
Some of the characters in Dragonlance are exceedingly well-traveled.
Aside from appearing in multiple Dragonlance books, Lord Soth shows up in Ravenloft as well. You can find him the Terror of Lord Soth duology.

#Dragonlance news: The Dragonlance Legends Omnibus will be released in February 2026. That's a bit of a wait, but the Chronicles Omnibus is still readily available, and so is the Dragonlance Destinies trilogy.
Now would be a great time to dive in! I'll add my suggested reading order to the comments.

Looking at art by those different artists, I can see what Larry Elmore meant. It's very cool!

I'll share some examples below as I'm able. Grab Art of the Dragon if you get the chance!

In this book, Larry spoke about working for TSR with other fantasy art greats such as Clyde Caldwell, Keith Parkinson, and Jeff Easley.

He said, "We all just did our thing. No one tried to make us paint like anyone else, and we never tried to force each other to paint like anybody else."
