it kinda represented the opposite to me, a breath of fresh air in the "AA" segment of the market, an emphasis on art. A bit of hope that i foolishly allowed myself.

i don't expect much of companies usually, and even less from the the next generic business analysis driven trend chasing shooters.

I usually drop products and series rather quickly, too. I don't think "harder to reconcile" was right. i was trying to say that it took me longer to emotionally separate from E33, i got invested before finding out & feels like a betrayal, and therefore supporting your point about the marketing.

I only found out that it had GenAI in it after getting emotionally attached to the game and its story/world/characters. hard to reconcile now.

On the other hand i don't care about Arc Raiders or Call of Duty and first thing i heard about them was the GenAI... so it was easy to put on full blast.

(Oh, and i'm the guy that who sat to your left during the initial talk thingy at the Gamerei, black grey shirt, talked a bit about rebuilding gamedev connections in/around Munich. i mean, in case you remember in the sheer flood of smalltalk during Godotfest and stuff)

Oh i'd love to take a peak at that 👀

Ooooh that's clever.
Do you pause the processing of those nodes, or is there another trick?

I really liked your three-slides-presentation at the Gamerei, instant wishlist.
