The incentive for clicks wins out every time. This is no small part of why Xbox has pivoted, imo. It pays the bills for observers, bloggers and journalists to punch down.

When my daughter had pneumonia we had about 4 hours in the ER dept, x-rays, then IV antibiotics and moved upstairs for an overnight stay while they monitored her blood oxygen, and the only thing I paid for was $16 parking.
