Thrift find! Amazing Oilbars from Winsor & Newton. They're sticks of oil paint that you can draw with directly on the canvas or add to other mediums. Still sealed! Goodwill sold all 5 to me for $1.99 - I think they thought they were rolls of clay? They are worth about $20 each! Have you used these??

It finally hit me... I finished making a complete offline backup of all of my own videos as well as everything I have ever liked, favorited, or shared in the last 5 years on TikTok, and that is when it hit me. It is a lot of different feelings, but mostly I am just fucking angry and sad.

My heart is breaking for all the creators on TikTok who are losing their main sources of income, but I'm also just crushed for all the smaller creators. Especially those who had just enough to give them or their business that boost they needed to stay afloat.

Dang friends. Being a TikTok refugee is sucky. I'll miss a lot of things, but I'll especially miss just sending TikToks back and forth with my Mom. It was our own special language and we just haven't found another platform where that interaction is so seamless.
