In May 2025 a 142-page dossier was handed to the war crimes unit of the Met Police documenting killings, torture and sexual violence by the RSF, the UAE-backed paramilitary group.

Compiled by a London-based team of barristers specialising in international law, it documents numerous atrocities.

The UAE is accused of sending weapons, drones, and battlefield technology directly to the RSF. They are reportedly recruiting and transporting Colombian mercenaries through the Bosaso port in Somalia. UAE-funded hospital in Bosaaso is treating RSF fighters injured in battle.

While millions of Sudanese face famine and the world's largest displacement crisis, evidence shows the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) are being armed and financed through networks tied to the UAE.

Over 25 million face acute food insecurity, including around 8.5 million at emergency levels

About 30-30.4 million people-more than two-thirds of Sudan's population, currently require humanitarian assistance.

“Nearly two thirds of Sudan’s population is in dire need of humanitarian assistance, including 16 million children. Acute food insecurity has reached historic levels, with famine conditions confirmed in various parts of the country and millions at risk of starvation.

In El Fasher, death has become a daily headline, and the survivors continue to live without water, food, or safety.

What is happening in El Fasher is not just a war, but a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe, a continuing social genocide where civilians are targeted simply for being alive.

"Yet, the world remains horrifically silent.

What is needed now is not more statements of sympathy, but real action to stop the bombing,to deliver food and medicine, and to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable."
