I was wrong. Trump didn't have to wrestle the Nobel Peace Prize from Maria Corina Machado. Instead, he was given it in the most sickening display of sycophancy I've ever seen. I threw up things I didn't remember eating.

I've written a lot about Iran over the years. Hopefully, this is the last time I am referring to it as a Theocracy.

It's useful to be mildly misanthropic as a writer. How else would you be able to point out humanity's faults if you love it? Just don't let it get out of hand. Have a need to love and be loved, but don't have a need to be liked.
