Haven't been writing a lot lately, giving myself a break after my last writing day. Yesterday I had the tickling to do something creative, so here I am introducing y'all to one of my first loves in the creative field. Painting. Here's the piece I painted yesterday.

Started writing at 8:45 today, reached my goal at 23:30. I took an appropriate amount of breaks throughout - had a whole lot of coffee (and water) along with snacks.
So yeah, this is why I average at 2.5k on good writing days, my brain becomes literal mash anything past 5k in one day.

Quick update on my goal since it's been a while. Was having quite a few days with low counts. Then there was today.
8,008 words. I was aiming for 10k which would catch me up with my goal again, but then I ran out of time.
