Both are seriously going to be a problem.

It is! Those Aldi ancient grains packets are great (had a half packet in the fridge), the veggies were roasted and in the freezer, and I had a smear of the miso paste left so it was a throw-together with butter cream and Parmesan. Tastes like hearty risotto.

His blood tastes different. Once the thought occurs to Lucy, it refuses to leave the forefront of her mind. That moment is a fast flash of emotion more than sequential action, but within the panic and anger is a recollection of taste. She'd known what her own blood tasted like - an errant cracked lip, a too-bitten cuticle, and Chet's accidental punch to the face during combat training had taught her that much - but the Ghoul's was different. More metallic. Now, she can't seem to get rid of the taste of Cooper's sweeter, thinner blood, so very much like her own. It lingers on her tongue, stronger than morning coffee and somehow sweeter than the chocolate icing on the cafeteria's chocolate cake. The taste makes her remember the looks on his face, both times she's sampled it. Fascination the first time, and something like victory the next as his eyes dipped down to watch her lick her lips and taste him.
