First time I ever ordered Eggs 🍳 Benedict and it was really delicious with avocado. Bastard Coffee & Kitchen in Valencia, Spain is sooooo good!

My sweetheart friend in Florida sent me these get-well soon flowers today. I love getting flowers, even if it is because I took a tumble. 😂🫶 The leg is healing though it’s ugly and sore.

I got hurt yesterday but nothing was broken. (So thankful!) Tonight my honey made tacos and margaritas for our Halloween Linner and that is making those aches and pains feel even better.🫶🎃

We have had a wonderful time here! Beautiful Bilbao, incredible Guggenheim, amazing private wine tour in La Rioja! 🫶 Heading back home to Valencia tomorrow!

Anthony Bourdain said to go where the locals eat, non-touristy spots. We’ve tried to do that in Bilbao, Spain and tonight found this little place called Jay Essaada restaurant. Super friendly staff, and the food was delicious and came in huge portions (1 plate can feed 2 people). Anthony was right.

Beautiful Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Having wonderful weather here the last couple of days.

Totally walkable! We don’t own a car and we don’t need to. Your feet get you about anywhere you want to go, but they also have a good bus/tram/metro system as well as lots of taxis and Uber when needed.

Valencia has amazing restaurants with foods from all over the world. It is not nearly overrun with tourists like poor Barcelona or even Madrid. It is a beautiful city that has a perfect feel of old meets new. The people here are overwhelmingly welcoming and kind and I am so glad to live here. 😁
