I’m watching the UNLV football game and the referee says that the receiver stepped out of bounds before he caught the ball and ruled no touchdown. He wasn’t even close to stepping out of bounce and they overruled it but how do you just make up a call right there without seeing something like

3-2 count base is loaded. You don’t need to overcommit to try to yank something into the left field stands. All you need to do is stay back and make contact instead he overcommit to a ball in the dirt.

It’s almost like they didn’t expect the Brewers to be so aggressive early and counts and they’re swinging at first pitches and Boyd was just throwing over meatballs
