I suppose it's similar to what I've started to do more recently. It's good to know you can still play & be surprised. Still sounds complex. But I suppose writing fantasy has it's own problems. You read & write enough of it & I guess any genre would look less scary to plot. #ukteenchat

My husband may agree with you & to be fair there's lots of great things from the 70s. And 60s. But I think everyone has a decade their heart is with.

I think I would be useless at having to no everything upfront and lay all the clues down. It's like an extreme version of plotting & I'm not a natural at even easy plot structures. I'm in awe of the ability to do what you do! #ukteenchat

I have to say my heart & nostalgic favourite is the 80s. I absolutely loved 'Mix Tape' for that reason. But I have some fond early 90s memories too. #ukteenchat

Oh! And write what you love. You will edit it SO many times, you really have to love it. Writing is re-writing and you have to have a whole lot of heart in there to keep pulling something apart and putting it back together again.
