Fired off pretty good here in Utah. Lots of reds.
Now with skies clearing, that snowpack will help result in some frigid temperatures (for the area). Forecast for Lafayette is 9, but I'm sure there will be colder temperatures.

Maybe lobby for storage as an issue. Multiply precip by 1000 and store as uint16. That way you get three decimal places and smaller files.
