The 26th Baltimore Book Festival returns this month! On Saturday, September 13 2025, the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) will take over the SFWA stage with a full day of panels featuring SFWA members and other storytellers in the genre. Don’t miss Somto Ihezue (co-editor of Will This Be A Problem? The Anthology: Issue V) on the panel “Salvation: Life After Sinners (with HWA)” at Peabody Heights Brewery from 3 PM. Inspired by the film Sinners, the panel will discuss what salvation looks like through the lens of horror, hoodoo and witchcraft. Swipe to see the full stage schedule. My voter card for the upcoming #GameAwards. A lot of it is my professional predictions on what will win, but I personally hope Balatro wins GOTY, Monster Hunter Wilds wins most anticipated, and Shadow of the Erdtree gets NOTHING.

SotE is a phenomenal piece of DLC, not a game.

Took the trip out to City Hall for my upcoming story on the $44 million ADA settlement on upgrading curbs and sidewalks in Baltimore City. This could be an ongoing funding program charged by BDOTS o'er the next 25 years. Stay tuned.
