I walked by this plant every day while housesitting and squealed at it every time, it's so cute. Little teeny-tiny watermelon-looking fruits dangling on teeny-tiny string-like vines, I love it.

Then I printed like 50 photos of both my cats, and today I found some frames at a thrift store. No, YOUR bookshelf is a shrine to a dead cat.

She's never coming home

She's (probably) fine. She's being her mean self to the vet staff and might get to come home tomorrow.

Annnd today we lost phone signal where I live so I couldn't get updates, and I had to drive into town to get signal so I could sit in a walgreens parking lot and listen to an unintelligible voicemail and then call the vet like "what is happening???"

Savory zucchini-jalapeño-cheddar loaf

Today I made a jar of zucchini pickles and a big pan of zucchini brownies, then went to the garden and picked five more zucchinis

Also the larger shelf is definitely put together wrong, but it still functions so whatever.

I don't like bothering people.
