Encarnacion is an interesting situation, unfortunately you’re not sure if he’s consistent because he was injured last season (which wasn’t his fault). For me there’s a lot of if’s with Gilbert + Encarnacion. If that’s plan, I hope works, but at least they need to start addressing those needs

I see your point, but they definitely need to upgrade that position on the offensive side and again vs LHP or just in general for a team that’s hot and cold in the offense department

I like Gilbert’s enthusiasm, but he flamed out towards the end. If Vitello can get something out of him, I’m all for it, but Garcia gave TEX 19 & 75 which would be on the same as Ramos or even Yaz and Garcia gives em RH power where the Giants struggle vs LHP

For RF Garcia from TEX is available or Bader has been on the radar

To me, you got Webb, Ray & Roupp. The Giants camp already contacted Valdez which would be perfect to have 2 RHP & 2 LHP especially an experienced one. PHL’s Suarez would be nice too. You’re gonna have to fill Verlander’s spot in the rotation and basically have McDonald, Birdsong, etc fight for #5

Giants need to spend money. Their needs are at RF, 2B, SP and bullpen. I’m okay with Schmitt, but if you can upgrade, it would be nice. In a division with LA & SD you gotta make a serious addition to at least compete

I’m okay with Bednar and Peguero, but Walker had 7 blown save out of 23 attempts which ranked him for 5th worst
