It really happened.

Twelve years & suddenly she's gone. The snow was hard for Rosie, and I hoped that's all it was, but this morning she could not stand on her own. Very large mass in her belly, growing so fast, nothing to be done. It was painless & peaceful, & I am grateful for every moment.
