The Wakodahatchee Wetlands were created on 50 acres of a previous waste water treatment plant. Today, highly treated wastewater flows into it returning billions of gallons of fresh water back into the Palm Beach County water table. A boardwalk makes for watching amazing nature in action.

Lest we forget: he was MARRIED to Kimberly Guilfoyle. Something rotten in Denmark with that dude.

A sweet distraction from the nightmare that is upon us. Coconut cream pie, a recipe going back four generations on my mother's side. I hadn't made one in years and it was friggin' delicious. Whatever it takes to keep sane, folks.

My friend, Alder Allensworth, is a musician, social worker, nurse and has written a lovely sensitive book (with music links and activities) for children with relatives who have Alzheimer's. (Amazon)

I'm actually experiencing this now! A dear friend (we raised our children together) has just published. She worked on this memoir for decades. I can't wait to call her when I'm finished! It's a gripping account of the resilience of women and is as important today as when she began this journey.
