Given I generally pilot a single behemoth of a window with 100s of (mostly grouped) tabs it only shows up on the rare occasions i have a second window open but yes, very strange behaviour.

Oh, that's why that happens? I'd just written it off as a quirk of Floorp, given I only recently started using it anyway.

But this isn't a uniquely Australian phenomenon. The Onion article exists for a reason, and you can find plenty of European and other voices speaking out about the lack of American gun control.

It's pretty relevant when you want to call out an Australian behaviour ignorant of US context, and it's being done by an American. No doubt there are some tone-deaf Aussies posting in various places online too, but I haven't really seen it.

As a lover of weird old merch lines I wish I could browse the associated clothing promised by the fine print of that second ad. Especially if it's unreasonably horny, just to try and see what on earth they were thinking.

I'm pretty sure weaponless wedges are banned from the recent seasons of Battlebots but even if they weren't the way judging has been weighted to reward damage inflicted would render them pretty uncompetitive.

The edge default settings in windows 11 are literally insane. No I don't want this browser always running in the background trying to pre-load pages it thinks I'll want.

As a state politician only (he ran for federal seats but unsuccessfully) the redistribution that affected him had nothing to do with the AEC, which only manages federal electorates.

Wollongong has such a weird vibe, like someone carved out a small section of a larger city and then just dropped it where a small coastal town is meant to be.

I'm not entirely convinced it'll stay on the books that long, at least not in this current form - but agreed that if it does then the scope will increase.

Not defending the very bad law (that isn't quite in effect yet) but the platforms targeted initially are the ones actually used at scale by Australian teens, I don't know that 4chan is big enough to register
