Worst scooter ridden to the shop: Both tires flat, missing rear axle nut, non-functional front brakes, blown fork seals, no charging voltage, heavy rust. Installed an axle nut & told him to walk it home. (And no, he has not had rider training or gotten a license.) God protects fools.

Today, the Q3 is getting a Class III Hidden Hitch. So many fasteners to clear access to the frame tubes!! Still have not figured out why they want the tail lights removed. I think they are just f**king with me.

Little Red the Adventure Scooter (a Tank 200 EFI Pro... actually 168 cc) delivered 1392 miles of fun at an average speed (while moving) of 33 mph (42 hours of rolling forward) in 10 days. Failed to start once due to water contaminated fuel (cured with Beryman's B-12 liquid...always in saddle bags).

The scooter trailer is getting an upgrade. Two rails, and longer to accommodate two 150cc scooters in anticipation of hauling them 1500 miles for a 1000+ mile Appalachian adventure. Stay tuned!

12 days. Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi. Green, hot, humid, twisty. Sorely needed fun. (A bunch of distilleries, too.)

OMG. What is with these gorillas who install drain plugs with 100 nm of torque. The spec for this one was 20 nm. So lucky to get this one out without damaging the crankcase!

So many customer conversations start with "I just bought this bike, and want to know how much it will cost to get it running again..." And so often the answer is "As much as you paid for the bike." Ignorance is not knowing. Stupid is not asking before buying.
