This is a really cool version of Ys I and II. The visual upgrade it got looks great and the different variations of the soundtrack are awesome. The action is solid, although I'm not a huge fan of the "bump" mechanic. The story, which follows Ys Origins is intriguing. Worth a look.

Another excellent addition to the series. There are some character designs that aren't very appealing but overall, it isn't a huge deal. The gameplay is great, it has new features that give the game a fresh feel. Some characters are unlocked using in-game currency, which is cool.

Right out the gate, this is a really good action game that offers way more than you expect. The skirmishes feel smooth and satisfying. The voice acting is fantastic and the music compliments the enviorment perfectly. This is a must play in my books. #alicemadnessreturns

This horror game has good things going for it in terms of gameplay but gets dragged down a bit by the visuals and sound design. The story is pretty cool, you experience it through both agent's perspectives and it's not that long either. Fans of the genre should check it out.

This horror game, I ditched shortly after starting it. Immediately the bad voice acting and mid character designs were a turn off. Gameplay felt slow and janky. Combat felt like an absolute train wreck, no cross hairs or indication of where one was impacting the enemy. This is a hard pass.

This psychological horror game is a real trip. They're are handful of jump scares that are done effectively but the real highlight is the use of the enviorment and ambient soundtrack. It rattles nerves and makes you dread having to open the next door. Definitely worth a look.

As a fan of the film, this felt fun to play but it was definitely not was I was expecting. The majority of the game consists of mini-games and as you complete them, you progress the story, which is basically the same as the movie. It's a ridiculously easy playthrough. Fans might like.

A cool platformer that's full of action and challenge. Visually, it looks awesome, character sprites are large and detailed. Gameplay is fun and intense, the boss battles are challenging but can be beat easily when patterns are learned. Overall, it's a great time, worth a look.

An interesting action platformer, that in the end, wasn't for me. It's a non-linear game with many branching paths to follow. It can feel overwhelming, having so many stages to navigate through but they're short stages. Overall, although interesting, the gameplay was too dull IMO.

An awesome racing game on the handheld. It's visuals are really nice and the 3D effects are pretty neat. The music consists of high energy tracks which fit the action well. The gameplay is where it shines, drifting feels smooth and the controls are responsive. A must play. #ridgeracer3d

Another fun Kirby title that doesn't disappoint. The visuals are perhaps my personal highlight. Character animations are clean and designs are nice. The music is delightful as usual and includes some of the iconic tracks. All in all, it's a fun game to playthrough, worth a look.

A fun and very challenging version of Metal Slug. It's a short trip, with only 5 stages but they're action packed. Upgrades to the character can be obtained and will be needed in order to get through the later stages. Visuals are colorful and tunes are great, worth a playthrough.

An interesting rpg that visually, it reminds me of GB Zelda games with a dash of Pokémon. It consists of navigating through randomly generated maps, gathering various monsters to battle and other common genre tropes. The story is kinda bland but overall it's worth a look. #dragonquestmonsters

The definitive version is obviously on SNES, but there's still a certain charm to these GB ports. The 8bit soundtrack is pretty cool and the general gameplay is fine. The obvious thing that stands out are the visuals, they're a bit tough to get used to. Still, worth a look. #donkeykonglandIII

Right off the bat, this entry in the series isn't considered canon. It plays like most early Rockman games and offers a good amount of content in terms of story. The visuals and sound design are perhaps the weakest part of the game. Hardcore fans might enjoy. #rockmanandfortechallengerfromthefuture

Right out the gate, this is a game I didn't vibe with. It's an action game with some light platforming that at first seemed fun but it became dull quick. Visually, it isn't terrible and the music is ok but it's gameplay wasn't very engaging. I'm sure it has it's audience, it just wasn't for me. #wiz

A fun puzzle game that's very similar to Magical Drop but with one major difference. Instead of matching colored spheres, you're matching coins of different denominations to create higher value coins and attacking the opponent. Overall, it's an entertaining time, worth a look. #moneypuzzleexchanger

GG Aleste II or Power Strike 2 is a fun and challenging shoot em'up. The action is fast paced and the enemies are plenty. Visuals are good with decent detail. The general gameplay is great, controls feel fluid and responsive. The tunes fit the game well. Overall, it's worth a look. #ggaleste2

A dope follow up to Rival Schools. Character roster is expanded with a few new additions and teams are now composed of three. The story has been branched out more but admittedly, I wasn't too invested in it. The gameplay is awesome and visuals are a step up from its predecessor. #projectjustice

A cool compilation of the first three Mega Man games, remade with 16-bit graphics and sound. The gameplay is what you'd expect but the difficulty did feel easier than the originals. The highlight is definitely the updated soundtrack and visuals. Overall, it's with a look. #megamanthewilywars

The Master System version of this game isn't all that great. The one hit deaths are a bit annoying, having a health bar would have made gameplay much more appealing. Otherwise, the visuals aren't too terrible and the tunes are actually pretty cool. Still, I'd say pass on this one. #batmanreturns

An interesting blend of action rpg and metroidvania elements, makes the gameplay in this one a fun time. It has a pretty catchy soundtrack and visually, it's very nice, colorful and vibrant. Cutscenes are pretty cool as well. Overall, it's a game that's worth a playthrough. #thedynastichero

This is a shoot em'up that right out the gate, has great a level of difficulty and challenge. Power ups must be kept our else the difficulty becomes tenfold. The action moves at a brisk pace and isn't a long game, at only 4 stages, each culminating with a boss. Worth a look. #terracrestaII

An excellent puzzle-platformer, with an entertaining story and fun gameplay. Storytelling is done mostly by text, in found scrolls and "bloodstains". The music is brilliant and enhances the atmosphere of each stage. Overall visuals are clean and simple. It's one to play for sure. #aroseinthetwilight

Although entertaining and interesting, the game is definitely more condensed when compared to the PS2 games. It's heavily story driven and expands on an already large world, which is cool. Gameplay can feel stale after a while. Visuals, along with the soundtrack, are great. Worth a look. #hacklink
