2nd, the independence of the fed is crucial. JPOW must be protected. Higher interest rates will likely be necessary to counteract trumps inflationary policies. If he somehow manages to fire JPOW and install one of his own goons we will be in for a world of hurt.

I think the best we can hope for in this 2nd Trump term, is that no major crises present themselves (aside from the fact that Trump is president) and Trump is not allowed to run for a 3rd term. I predict he will try to change the rules and run in 2028.
