thats very true. i was mostly thinking about how game design is the only thing ive ever enjoyed doing (as a hobby). my real studies have been a torturous slog for almost a decade and i have little hope for getting a relevant job at this point

theres definitely a bit (I DO have to do some amount of programming for my studies) however actual software engineering stuff (algorithms etc) are quite a bit beyond me

i dont necessarily blame myself, because in 2016 (when i graduated hs) i dont think anyone expected tech and science to crater this hard. but still it really hurts
