saving up to get a new videogame and considering to changing to linux over some OS issues + to try something new that'll help me for some stuff RL later down the line only to find out that said videogame doesn't work on linux as a deliberate effort on behalf of the devs

i've just realised what was putting me off about the horsemen mounts! they don't have the fire-y magical effects that the vicious skeletal mounts do

i was thinking of this plot of making my undead mage lose his ability to cast the arcane after something so he has to resort to darker sources of magic that would usually require souls but with blood through bloodstones instead and i was like "man this feels VERY familiar."
