They're quite good shows with lots of passion behind them and it shows. Yes, they're a tad campy and corny, but overall they're wholesome and have engaging, charismatic characters.

I've also got a soft spot for Vivziepop's art style.

Divinty: Original Sin 2 had an overall better combat system than BG3, frankly.

The show was pretty good. Come on. It had its moments. Mark was such a great straight man type of character, and his chemistry with Randall and his succubus girlfriend worked well.

I think if they gave the show more time to reach its potential, it could've been great.

Same here. I also have a weak spot for noir detectives.

This said, I do tend to like cop/detective stories that don't paint them as morally upstanding. True Detective S1, Disco Elysium, Lacuna, Robocop are all good examples of that.

I think that as long as you recognize the issues of a police state and how systemic oppression works, it doesn't really detract from that to enjoy fictional stories with cops. Yeah, some of those are copaganda, but others still manage to pull valid social commentary on the theme.

I'm sorry, "Mr. Master's Degree," solve your own fucking problem then instead of bugging my lowly tech support ass.

As long as you kill them humanely and fast, it's the right thing to do. Invasive species aren't evil or at fault for being invasive, but yeah, unfortunately, they can wreck the local ecosystem.

All that while they quietly shun artists who draw cubs and loli.

Oh, for sure, Ansbach is an unreliable narrator, although out of the DLC NPCs, he's surprisingly one of the most level-headed ones, upfront and even admits he can not break his blood connection to Mohg.

OwOfication of anyone in Elden Ring is such an oversimplification of complex characters.

Holy shit this is a good one.
October 7, 2025 at 7:09 PM
I don't wanna detract from your point, but it only takes freezing or pouring alcohol or an acidic substance on them for them to die. You don't need to do all 4 things. They're resilient but not THAT resilient.

What you never wanna do is crush or cut them up.

Mohg kidnapped blood surgeons and other people before to build his Dynasty, though, so it's not far-fetched to assume he got enchanted after trying to kidnap Miquella.
October 7, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Also, it's been a while since I last played the DLC, but didn't Ansbach have dialogue in his quest about Mohg being enchanted by Miquella?

What's not confirmed is whether he first tried kidnapping Miquella and then got enchanted or the other way around.

Either way, he did some bad shit for sure.

Mohg definitely did a lot wrong and became a terrible lord after going with his whole Mohgwyn Dynasty shit. I do think him and Morgott were both victims of Marika, though, as the Omens were treated horribly.

After the DLC, however, I think Miquella isn't that great either. Both are complicated.
October 7, 2025 at 6:46 PM
I thought the Mohg vindication claims came after the DLC, where it was revealed Miquella might've planned the whole kidnapping thing and controlled Mohg's mind to later use him as a vessel for Radahn?

Not that it makes Mohg a good guy, he was always horrible.

It's not that people from 3rd world countries are more prone to violence. It's that extreme poverty makes anyone desperate and demoralized, and every human is capable of atrocities when desperate enough. Usually that extreme poverty is the result of historical exploitation by outside powers.

As an immigrant myself (from a country that's considered 3rd world), I absolutely despise these types of videos. They try and paint an eugenist narrative that those countries are in a rough state because of inherent bad traits of people in them, but ignore those countries' histories.
