The creator explains there is a translation error. ‘Coconut milk’ should be translated as 椰浆 (yējiāng), rather than 椰奶 (yēnǎi), because this is the coconut water found in the coconut shell. The 奶 (nǎi) part usually means milk, such as 牛奶 (niúnǎi) meaning cows milk or 豆奶 (dòunǎi) meaning soy milk.
