@ravenben.bsky.social great freakonomic episode, thanks!

Though I have a bone to pick with nightshade - if it's there to increase costs doesn't that mean that small businesses will be effected more consolidating more power to billionair companies for whom it's a rounding error?

Been subscribed to @proton.me since 2017 and recent comments are really disheartening and frankly feel extremely out of touch. You really need to stay out of this and focus on making awesome stuff instead.

OK EVERYBODY am doing a new show!

Ask Hank Anything is an interview show where folks ask me their most burning questions, I do my best to answer them, while learning a bit about each other in the process.

I often see developers make mistakes in their tutorials that trip up readers, so I thought a lot about what makes some tutorials effective and what makes others frustrating.
Rules for Writing Software Tutorials
It's easier than you think to write an exceptional software tutorial. You can stand out in a sea of mediocre guides by following a few simple rules.

My marine biologist son Rob has lived on the same island for 7 years, doing painstaking work to improve biodiversity and train local people in conservation. Here’s a new video. Nothing dramatic (he’s not Attenborough and doesn’t have a film crew). Just a healthy coral reef:

Dug up like 20 rocks today in the morning to plant two tiny plants.

I kinda wondered where do people get all of these rocks for their gardens, turns out they are all there!

Ever since I moved to Thailand I had a fascination with these yellow flower trees that surround every country side road

Yellow Trumpets never stop flowering meaning they're always swarming with all sort of criters that are so fun to observe.

Few days ago I managed to find one for my garden! 😊

This beautiful Polypore mushroom is growing in my garden though I fear it might be under attack by some mold on top of it? Or are these spores?

Also anyone knows the name of it? I call him Mr. CAPS but there's more than one. #fungiFriends
