I thought all the Conservative appointees have retained their affiliation while those Senators appointed by Trudeau and previous Liberal governments were sitting as independents.

I thought at first something had hit our building in downtown Vancouver. It was loud but oddly enough nothing rattled in my condo. I think that’s why I was confused at first as to what was happening. The alert came several moments later. I also have the Alertable app which was helpful.

He’s also done the stupid thing of not rallying his countrymen behind him. He’s divided them and continues to do so. He’s hurting his base with cuts. And tariffs and boycotts will start to kick in causing further chaos and anger.

I think we have to watch until it happens otherwise we would be the aggressor. I don’t think it will start with invasion. It will be economic suppression and social media manipulation. But Trump’s off on the wrong foot because he thinks others fear him and will capitulate. We don’t and won’t.

I’m not sure the Russian population is united with Putin. Heavy suppression of political opposition has gone on for years. Cities and services are falling apart. They’ve had revolution before. They know the playbook.
