Dread waking?

Trip was good. This week is tough for me at the shop, I will have my hands full with something else. Next week would be better. I’m not sure why your gear is having problems still, is it still rideable?

Hey, I think I have a fix for the backpedaling ratcheting noise.

I think the wheel needs to be taken apart and the grease cleaned off the rollers on the center of the hub assembly.

In either case if it’s not making noise when pedaling and feels ok, it’s likely OK.

So I’m a mechanical engineer by trade — if you had a painted surface with the same thermal emissivity as a solar panel and an actual solar panel, would the solar panel be cooler?

The solar panel can’t just make energy, it has to come from somewhere. Is it all otherwise thermal?

Do solar panels absorb heat at all? I’ve never understood WHERE the actual energy comes from.
