Is anyone looking into the economic reports from the administration? I think they are intentionally misleading? I think the math is off…

Another modest increase in the CPI report for the month of May. I am suspicious of the current CPI and Labor reports. Something is not right in the way economic data is being used and communicated from the administration. Interesting article from the Wall Street Journal.

Isn’t it convenient how the Trump administration invoked ‘states’ rights’ to offload responsibilities like education and emergency response—yet had no problem bypassing state leadership, like California’s governor, to federalize control over law and order?

The Marines have been called into LA. The ICE riots and military intervention all represent a federal overreach to the state matter.

I believe the economic reports for April and May have been calculated and are incorrect. The department’s responsible have admitted that they’re shorthanded and are using smaller samples for their calculations. Secretary of commerce suggested math changes for some of the key metrics like GDP.
