Universal mail in ballots and sufficient voting sites and you’d be set.

I just don’t want those folks(waves generally at troglodyte state governments) to be allowed to compel speech out of their citizens.

Actually, that’s a universal thing.

Also not a huge fan of holding elections when inclement weather can be expected for the majority of the population. Because you can be sure some place run by the worst people will force their voters to wait in long lines, exposed to that weather.

A blank ballot and an intentional refusal to participate are separate in my mind.

I’ve been an election officer a few times, and I want everyone to have the opportunity to vote. Even getting rid of the bs punitive disenfranchisement of those convicted of felonies in some places.

I like the Australia model fairly well, but abstaining from voting has got to be among core free speech actions, imo.

A Kavanaugh Treat is seized goods from detained during stops, citizens and people with legal status shouldn’t have to worry about not getting their property back almost immediately.*

It’s been pretty clearly incompetence.
