There's not a great solution, they're in the minority, but making an effort to do anything goes a long way.

Speaking for myself I would trust Dem leaders more if they showed any fighting spirit. It doesn't have to be a gov't shutdown but act as if you care (e.g. don't vote for judges/nominees, use every procedural trick you have to make life difficult, behave like ::all this:: is an emergency).

We can work out policy details later if we agree on values and the only value that matters is a soul consuming hatred of these guys.
