For anyone curious, prime white, cover in Army Painter Pastel Indigo, heavy white drybrush, wash in AP blinding white, then drybrush the back ridges/ accent points in white.

I forget how many people genuinely don't understand they're voting against their own best interest

Same, re: strategic voting. I'm not happy, but it's a big-picture thing. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself.

Btw blue/orange is genuinely insane to me, and I am having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. Not saying that's not what happened, but it's so bizarre.

I've been saying this for months, and people have been acting like I'm crazy.

Singh was decent, good even, but the NDP sort of lost their identity in the last few months.

I'm hoping the next election is at least 3 years away so the NDP have time to rebuild and find a more unified purpose.

As a Canadian, I really can't accept the praise of CDN voters here.

Our Cons gained a lot of momentum, and even though they thankfully blew a 20-point lead, it's because our left had to sacrifice the NDP on the altar of defensive voting. We're still in a rough position, and it's not going away fast

As a Canadian (BC), I wouldn't say things are great still. Conservatives will likely hold at least some of the momentum they had in this election, despite blowing their initial lead, and we could be right back where we started.

I'm not a huge Carney fan, but our "left" party completely fumbled.

Not sure who the frontrunner will be for NDP leadership either. I have friends saying Peter Julian, though he just lost his seat, or Wab Kinew, though I think Manitoba probably(?) needs his leadership right now.

I agree re: Trudeau, but the fact is the conservatives still had a massive vote turnout, and increased by ~20 seats. That's not nothing, by any measure. At this point, my hope is that we get at least 3 years for the NDP to rebuild as a better left-leaning party than they've been for the last yearish

I'm not sure I fully agree. As much as I absolutely LOATHE PP, the fact that the Cons picked up ~20 seats under him would suggest he had competence as a leader.

I think the real heroes here are the left, who begrudgingly votes liberal, at the expense of the NDP.

Thank you! First small mini I've painted with speedpaints, overall enjoying them.
